Aneta Majerová
Slovak pianist Aneta Majerová is a graduate of the conservatory and the Academy of Music in Banská Bystrica, and the Pedagogical Faculty in Prague. She also studied at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, Gnessin Academy of Music in Moscow, and The Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, and took part in many international piano competitions. She regularly appears on stages in the Czech Republic and abroad and dedicates herself mainly to chamber and solo music. She has collaborated with eminent classical musicians and ensembles, including Petr Nouzovský, Markéta Cukrová, Roman Patočka, Stamic Quartet, and Zemlinsky Quartet, and performers from other genres as well, including Marta Töpferová, Iva Bittová, or David Dorůžka. As a dedicated interpreter of music by Gideon Klein, she has been a recipient of a bursary from the Gideon Klein foundation. In recent years, Aneta has been interpreting music by contemporary Israeli composers, including Tzvi Avni, Paul-Ben Haim, Josef Bardanashvilli, and Ayal Adler.
